Ulster American Folk Park
What a fantastic day Primary 6&7 had today at the Ulster American Folk Park. The boys and girls had finished their topic on the famine and had a brilliant day out taking part in the Famine programme at the Ulster Folk Park. The children had such a fun day, learnt lots of new things and were also excellent at sharing the knowledge they already have. It was great for the children to see a glimpse of what life was like during this time after working so hard during their topic over the last few weeks. We even got to board the famine ship! We received compliments all day on how good their listening skills were and how enthusiastic and passionate the children were on the famine. The staff at the Folk Park were extremely impressed with the knowledge that our Primary 6&7 class have on the famine. We are very proud of each of you, well done boys on girls ☺️✨
